The forecast for the next few days is rain. I feel (almost) unable to complain because the past week has been so beautiful. Some rain, some gray, and still plenty of chill to be sure but this was the week when spring finally decided to come in, take off her coat, and stay awhile.

The ice and snow on the farm pond (Ridge Pond) is melting quickly. Some shots from Thursday to Sunday...

At this time of year and from this vantage point you can see the next nearby ridge through the trees across the road. One of the things I love about Palermo are its many ridges with views for days. The Ridges of Waldo County would have been a much better read than that other book...
